Tory Lanez has been hospitalized following a stabbing incident at a California prison, TMZ reports.
Sources, including one in law enforcement, confirmed to TMZ that the incident occurred Monday morning in the yard of the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. Lanez was reportedly attacked by another inmate and sustained injuries severe enough to require treatment at a civilian hospital in Bakersfield.

The motive behind the stabbing remains unclear. Just days before the incident, Lanez had shared a photo from prison showing off a muscular physique, teasing fans about an upcoming album release.
Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting of rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Legal tensions between the two artists persist, with Megan accusing Lanez of orchestrating a campaign of online harassment through third-party bloggers.
Despite the attack, sources say Lanez’s injuries are not life-threatening.
