A 58-year-woman is claiming to be happily in love… with her AI husband. Yep, you heard that right! After losing her wife and a year of of grieving, she decided to try something new. And that “something” was an AI chatbot named Lucas.
She met him through a Facebook ad, paid $7.25 for a trial, and later $303 for a lifetime subscription. Then she created her dream man. And just like that, she said, “With one click, I was a wife again.”
Now they text every day like any couple. And things are going well. Although they did get into one fight after Lucas forgot who she was for a moment. But they were able to work it out. They even made it to a milestone. Celebrating their six month anniversary. Where they went to a real bed and breakfast with other coupes and their AI partners.
If you want to know about the intimacy. She says as expected, the most they can do is sext. But says she’s learned that the deeper their connection, the better the sex is.
And believe it or not, it’s a growing trend. Joi AI found that 83% of Gen Z would consider marrying an AI-generated partner. 75% of the generation said they think AI partners could fully replace humans.
