Maryland Nurses Get Some Well Needed Support – $20 Million Worth of it

Okay, this is some feel-good news right here.
The Baltimore Ravens and the Stephen and Renee Bisciotti Foundation just dropped $20 million. The funds will help support our local nurses and grow the future nursing workforce!
They’re spreading the love evenly with $5 million grants going to MedStar Health, Mercy Medical, Johns Hopkins, and University of Maryland Medical System.
The money will help these hospitals recruit, train, and keep nurses. Because by 2036, Maryland is expected to be short almost 15,000 nurses. That’s a 20% shortage y’all.
Let’s give a round of applause to the Ravens for showing up off the field in a major way!
So some well needed money to help a well needed cause.
