We have a lot of good reasons to show some BIG love to our hometown hero, Gabby Samone. She’s reppin’ Baltimore strong on American Idol. And last night, she tore it up with a soul-shaking performance of Beyoncé’s “I Was Here.”
The judges were blown away. Carrie Underwood said, “Wow and vote!” And Lionel Richie? He praised her emotion and control—called it unforgettable.
Gabby closed the show as the final performer of the night—and guess what? She made it into the Top 8.
