Beyoncé Hosts All-White Event For Cécred
Everyone loves a white party, including Beyoncé. The all-time Grammy Award winner hosted one for her Cécred Foundation hair line, which will now be exclusively sold at Ulta. The launch party in Los Angeles drew influencers like Jena Frumes and Shae Scott. Accompanied by her mother, Tina, the company’s vice chairman, and her nephew, Julez, B wore a white tuxedo dress, white strappy heels, and a white coat.
While any interactions with attendees were strictly off-camera, we can see that Beyoncé’s hair is now a color called ‘icy’ blonde. In a new promo for the brand, she’s seen using the Nourishing Hair Oil and then passing it to her mother, who passes it off to a few women and eventually to what looks like a new customer who takes it into Ulta.
Per the company’s press release, this is the largest prestige hair launch in its history. Cécred’s full collection ranges in price from $16 to $56. At The Salon at Ulta Beauty locations nationwide, new permanent services, per Ulta, are below:
- Cécred Scalp Revival with a signature Cécred circulation scalp massage that can be paired with any Cécred treatment and any finished style.
- Cécred Protein Bounceback Treatment features Cécred’s Fermented Rice & Rose Protein Ritual to help strengthen hair and the Cécred Moisturizing Deep Conditioner.
- Cécred Hydration & Repair Treatment which includes Cécred Reconstructing Treatment Mask, and Cécred’s Moisturizing Deep Conditioner.
And starting on May 18, Ulta will offer Cécred Sundays with special self-care offerings and a complimentary mini Temple of Oud candle with any service.
“My roots as a professional started when I was a salon owner, so I know firsthand the power of delivering transformative hair care in the chair,” Tina Knowles said. “We want to replicate that feeling in the aisle, and Ulta Beauty is the perfect partner to help bring this vision to life.”
