Sheree Whitfield Unhappy With ‘Fix My Life’ Portrayal

Sheree Whitfield is not happy with the way she was portrayed on “Iyanla: Fix My Life,”where she was scolded by her ex-husband and the show’s host Iyanla Vanzant.

In the episode, Vanzant questioned Sheree’s decision to build her extravagant home, “Chateau Sheree,” The house has yet to be completed and Whitfield who has made headlines for issues with her finances,insisted that her upgraded residence was being built with her children in mind.

Iyanla was not buying it and went in:

“That ain’t about your kids,” Vanzant told Whitfield on the show. “That’s about you.”

Sheree complained about feeling attacked.

“I felt like I was being attacked,” Whitfield told Vanzant on the show. “It was very hurtful … I didn’t feel like questions about whether or not my finances were up to par had anything to do with me as a parent or being a good person.”

She then reinforced how she was feeling by retweeting a tweet from a viewer.

“Last week DMX was a deadbeat Dad. This week it’s ok to be a absentee if you don’t like the mother,” Whitfield re-tweeted. “Ratings trump Logic #IylanlaFixMyLife.”

Will & Jada Let Their Kids Punish Themselves

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith who have two children together do not believe in punishing them. The actor and his 14-year-old son Jaden are currently making the rounds promoting their movie “After Earth.” When questioned by the Metro newspaper about when Jaden was last punished, Will admitted that his family does not utilize punishment methods in their home.

“We don’t do punishment. The way that we deal with our kids is, they are responsible for their lives,” Smith told Metro New York recently. “Our concept is, as young as possible, give them as much control over their lives as possible and the concept of punishment, our experience has been- it has a little too much of a negative quality. So when they do things- and you know, Jaden, he’s done things- you can do anything you want as long as you can explain to me why that was the right thing to do for your life.”

Jaden insisted that the concept worked well in their household, and revealed that his father keeps tabs on all of his activities.

“This is what I’ve realized: No matter what I do or how I do it, he knows 100 percent of what’s going on,” the younger Smith told Metro New York. “There’s no point in hiding anything because he knows. Whether he acts on it or not, he knows.”

Shemar Moore: ‘Toni Braxton Was A Wild Ride’

Shemar Moore recently opened up about dating gorgeous actress Halle Berry & sexy singer Toni Braxton. The “Criminal Mind’ hottie who has always managed to keep his love life out of the tabloids, told BET:

[Toni Braxton] was my first Hollywood relationship. I was a baby, I did not know sh*t. I had just graduated from college, I had no money and I was on Young and the Restless. She called my agent when she was shooting a video in Miami, and it just went from there. I was like the little kid who found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. It was a wild ride with Toni. She would never sing for me, though. That always bothered me.”

He dishes on why Halle was a necessary experience:

She was the first woman to really knock my socks off. I fell hard for Halle. A lot of people now know we dated, but we had to keep it hush-hush at the time because she was fresh off her divorce from David Justice. I’m still grateful for that relationship. I was smitten not just because of who she was, but because we were so similar in so many ways. She was biracial, she was kind of going through the same things I was in Hollywood. Toni was a fun ride, but Halle was a necessary experience. It made me much stronger as a man, and knowing the caliber of woman I want in the future.

She hasn’t had the greatest luck with men since then. Any regrets there?

No, none at all. She’s a tough cookie. I’m glad she’s got a family now. If this love she’s got with this guy is real, then that’s what she needs.
